Herculaneum V.13. Shop linked to dwelling at V.14. Excavated 1938.

Originally this area would have belonged to the House of the Bicentenary.

The shop was found without a counter, amphorae or dolia for the storing of foodstuffs, and was most probably a craftsman’s workshop.

Nearby (V.14) was a stairway to go up to the upper dwelling quarters.
